KCZIA



The Cracow Center of Management and Administration Ltd – KCZIA (http://www.kczia.eu) is a private SME, founded in Poland in 1999. KCZIA specializes in:
1.    1. Consulting - outsourcing services adapted to specialized needs of other businesses (more than 30 period contracts with SMEs).  The mission of KCZIA on this area is to offer high quality services with commitment and consistency, in order to enhance and reinforce the competitiveness of the enterprises, through the promotion of innovation, technology transfer, utilization of research outcomes, development of links with research institutions, exploitation of opportunities for financing and assistance for utilization of development programs.
2. Education for adults:
a)    The Training Centre for Adults.
b)    The Cracow Centre of the Improvement of Educational Personnel (KCDKO).

The Training Centre for Adults.
KCZIA has a wide experience in vocational and adult training issues through the company’s participation in a variety of lifelong learning projects. KCZIA is also currently participating in projects to do with distant learning, adult education and establishing links between the universities and the industry sector (e.g. ESF project SPIN-OFF, SPIN-OUT – START UP). KCZIA is organizing also the social skills trainings and ICT trainings (e.g. project: ECDL - your chance on the labour market).
KCZIA has a wide experience in dissemination and exploitation issues and project marketing.
In this field our target groups are all adults who want to learn, especially women and persons being in the special situation.

The Cracow Centre of the Improvement of Educational Personnel (KCDKO).
KCDKO was founded in 2004. KCDKO is registered by regional educational authority - Malopolska Provincial Educational Office.
KCDKO is organizing the trainings for the teachers, school managers and other persons who are working in primary, secondary and upon secondary schools.
Ours courses include following subjects:
- sustainable development,
- entrepreneurship,
- methodology of the teaching,
- innovations in the teaching.

KCDKO is also preparing the analysis of educational requirements and educational needs.
KCDKO was involved as a partner in Leonardo da Vinci Pilot project: “Comparative Analysis on the methods successfully applied in the fight against Bullying: Training of trainers.” And in the centralized Comenius projects: “NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND” and “ 3EMI - INTERCULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT OF SCHOOLS”.
From 2009 KCDKO is a partner in Comenius Network project SEEP - Science Education European Platform.

We have also been partners in a number of EU LLP projects (Grundtvig and Leonardo da Vinci), e.g. Housewives in WWW, Active citizenship trough Information and Communication Technologies at all ages [activeICT], ALL-IN: Adults Learning Languages and Intercultural Awareness, ICE - (Inter) Cultural Capitals across Europe - Intercultural approaches in adult education in the context of European Capitals of Culture, Art for live: creative learning paths.  KCZIA is a coordinator in Grundtvig LLP project - PRO ALL - Promoting Adult Learning.
KCZIA has been engaged in various ESF projects as a contractor.
This has given us a wealth of experience in developing and delivering innovative learning packages.  We also have experience dissemination and exploitation of projects and project evaluation.  We are highly experienced in project management. The key persons have “own” professional educational and training experience. Our finance staffs are fully experienced and qualified. 

In all activities KCZiA is cooperating with different institutions from EU and Poland like NGOs, schools, universities, SMEs, local authorities.

KCZIA is organizing the partners meetings, conferences, seminars and other events. Also KCZIA representatives are participating in a lot of international seminars and conferences.



 

 

(Krakow Management and Administration Centre) has been in operation since 1998. Its activities are focused on two fields:
1. Outsourcing services as part of which we offer:
- comprehensive accounting services;
- personnel and payroll services;
- administrative support, advice and assistance in establishing and running a company;
- advice on project management.
2. Training activities including the implementation of international partnership projects like Grundtvig, Comenius, Leonardo da Vinci.
As part of training services, KCZiA Sp. z o.o. has been running the "SPIN-OFF, SPIN-OUT - NA START " project co-financed by the EU from the European Social Fund since August 2008.
Its purpose is to promote the idea of academic entrepreneurship and commercialising the knowledge and skills of teams (individuals) working at universities/colleges or scientific institutions in Małopolska. The project is addressed to PhD students, lecturers and scientists from universities/colleges and research institutions.
As part of the project, we offer a 72 hour training about establishing and running one's own spin-off or spin-out company, drawing up a business plan, an introduction to the labour code, forms of taxation, commercialising inventions and innovative technologies, sources for financing business and company management. The course is offered using the blended learning method, i.e. a combination of workshops with the self-study of materials provided. Apart from attending the training, every trainee has 8 hours of one-on-one consultations aimed at producing a plan of a spin-off or spin-out business (a business plan) drawn up by every trainee individually, or by a group.
By the end of August 2009, we have completed three editions of the training, and the fourth, last edition for 20 trainees is planned between the second fortnight of October 2009 and the end of January 2010. Recruitment started on 24 August and will last until all the places are filled. The acceptance for the training depends on the order of enrolment.
